Addressing the Opportunity Gap

Children from low-income areas do not have the same opportunities to experience enrichments, like art, music and STEAM, physical activities, academic resources in the same way children from middle- and high-income homes do. In Marin County, 65% of low-income students have not met English and Math proficiency standards.

How you can help?

Annual cost to operate the 16 sites is $3.5M.

To ensure our most marginalized students can succeed this school year, the Y needs to raise $1M to close the gap.

We’re asking you to help keep Marin’s children & youth healthy, supported, & learning.

All gifts to this campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000. With this fund we will be able to support Marin's 250 most marginalized students this year.
